A Wednsday, 15 December 2004, obituary in the Las Vegas Sun, said "Edward P. Humes, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 7, 1951, in Philadelphia. A resident for four years, he was a business consultant." Therefore, he became a resident in 2000. The house was bought in 2002. If Humes were alive today (19 June 2008), he would be about 57. Oliver is about 57, the same age. Humes and Oliver were joint tenant owners of the parcel. When there are two joint tenants and one dies, the other becomes the sole owner.
EDWARD P HUMES born 1951-01-07 lived in Tucson, Pima County, AZ 85705. This seems to be the Humes of the obituary, who seems to have been Oliver's co-owner.
There is an author, Edward Humes, who also was born in Philadelphia, now lives in southern California, and plays blackjack in Las Vegas. Town & Country, which may be in southern California, is listed as an owner of the house when the house was sold at a foreclosure sale, as mentioned below.

A foreclosure sale is normally a public auction. We guess that the auctioneer was either Town & Country or trustee Deutsche Bank. Foreclosure auctioneers often have names like "Town & Country Title Services Inc.". Furthermore, it's unusual, as far as we know, for a foreign-oriented bank to be a real estate auctioneer in Clark County.
Often a creditor buys at a forclosure sale by bidding an amount equal to the size of the debt. There is a question of why Deutsche Bank was a trustee for a buyer at this sale regardless of whether the buyer was a creditor. Was the buyer German or a business active in Germany? We guess that it's conceivable that a Deutsche Bank affiliate or customer bought a loan for which the house was collateral, the loan went unpaid, a foreclosure sale was done, the unpaid debt exceeded the value of the house, the sole bid at the auction was the amount of the unpaid debt, the bid was made by trustee Deutshce Bank for the creditor, and that's why trustee Deutshce Bank bought a house in Clark County. The preceding merely was a guess.

Maybe Nplus Inc had domain nplus-inc.com and has domain nplus-inc.co.jp. By the way, the N in Nplus means natural number. ENUPURASU, Inc. (Nplus, Inc.) sells service related to corporate branding, Web site media development, and IT systems but not, as far as we know, American realty. If the Nplus corporation which owned the house is Japanese, it's intereresting that a Japanese corporation owned a one-family house in North Las Vegas.
As far as we know, Nplus bought the house earlier the same day (31 December 2002) from Lpa Ltd. On the last day of 2002, Lpa seeems to have sold to Nplus for $115,000, then Nplus seems to have sold to Humes-Oliver for $135,000. Npluss made $20,000 on a house it owned less than one, full day, acording to our understanding of information on the Web. Why didn't Lpa sell directly to Humes-Oliver? This two-sale day is interesting.
There may be more than one entity named Lpa Ltd. There may be a business by that name in Britain: Lpa Ltd, Westleigh, Lea Road, Lea, Preston, Lancashirer, Northwest Englad, UK, PR4 0RB; phone 01772 333333. Preston is a town on the River Ribble. Lpa, which is part of Dukefield Group, provides purchasing services to Lancashire County Council. Dukefield is a British business which provides procurement services for goods and services but not, as far as we know, for American realty. Lpa's domain may be lpa-ltd.co.uk.
We don't know how or when Lpa got the house.
In our opinion, Simon Karroll LLC seems, according to information on the Web, to have had the same Nevada address as CSGI.
