According to 03/21/2007 press release, "Governor Schwarzenegger Announces Appointments": "Delette Olberg, 40 [theerfore born about 1967], of Roseville, has been appointed chief deputy appointments secretary in the Office of the Governor. She most recently served as chief-of-staff for Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee and held the same position from 2004 to 2005. Olberg previously served as director of scheduling for the Office of Governor Schwarzenegger and was director of law and government affairs for AT&T. From 2002 to 2003, she served as director of member services and minority consultants for the Assembly Republican Caucus. From 2001 to 2002, Olberg was director of energy and technology for the California Manufactures and Technology Association. Prior to that, she served as chief-of-staff to Assemblywoman Lynn Daucher from 2000 to 2001 and Assemblyman Keith Olberg [R. Keith Olberg, her husband] from 1995 to 2000. Her experience also includes five years as membership coordinator for the Chemical Industry Council of California. This appointment does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $118,000. Olberg is a Republican."
