Governor SCHWARZENEGGER

Governor Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger was born on 30 July 1947 in Thal village, Styria, Austria. He came to America in 1968. He was an apprentice carpenter, soldier (who supposedly spent seven days in an army jail for being AWOL to participate in a bodybuilding contest), professional contestant in bodybuilding contests, entrepreneur (for example, producing bodybuilding contests), investor, and actor. He supposedly owned buildings before he ever acted in a movie. He married Maria Shriver, by whom he has four children: Christina, Christopher, Katherine, and Patrick. By mail, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, a generally fine university.
Motorcycle
It is common for California law enforcement officers (for example, Highway Patrol officers) to give tickets for infractions. The governor should get a ticket for every time he rode criminally. It is neither fair nor legal that the governor is exempt from tickets.
In Los Angeles in December 2001, Schwarzenegger broke some ribs and was a hospital inpatient for a few days because he rode a two-wheeled motorcycle. He should get a ticket for that (although that criminal infraction may be too old to prosecute now). Those injuries raise a health insurance question. We guess he had health insurance which paid the medical bills resulting from the December 2001 infraction. Maybe that policy does not cover injuries resulting from the commission of a crime. In that case, making a health insurance claim may have been improper, and he should pay a refund to the health insurer. By the way, there is also an automotive insurance question. Maybe it is a condition of his insurance policy (we guess he's insured) that each vehicle be driven only by people licensed to drive that kind of vehicle. Even if there is such a condition, we guess that the insurer won't cancel his policy.
Possibly in conjunction with the above-mentioned inuries, Schwarzenegger had a medical privacy problem in a California state government medical center according to such publicity as "Governor says his medical records were accessed, too", Evan Halper, Los Angeles Times, 1:15 PM PDT, 7 April 2008, which appeared at www.latimes.com/features/health/la-me-arnold8apr08,1,7358634.story. California's government officers (for example, those at UCLA Medical Center, where Schwarzenegger privacy was illegally viuolated) should stop, or at least severely reduce, illegal access to government records. In our opinion. when a prospective patient at a California government medical service-provider (for example, UCLA Medical Center) receives information as part of the process by which he decides whether to give informed consent to that care-provider, he should be told that his medical records there may not get the confidentiality to which he has a legal right. That information is highlty relevant to whether he should consent to treatment there. Furthermore, the lack-of-confidentiality disclosure should not be boilerplate but instead should be based on the unique facts of the facility at which the disclosure is given (for example, the specific kinds of patient records which actually were illegally accessed at that facility). We don't know if disclosing that information is legally required. We merely think telling the patient is the right, fair thing to do. At UCLA Medical Center but not necessarily at other state government medical facilities, the disclosure to prospective patients also might include information about UCLAMC officers' past, illegal sales (for the officers' personal enrichment) of donated body parts because that disclosure tells the prospective patient about the lawfulness and professional ethics of the staff, which is relevant to his decision about whether to consent to treatment by that staff. A patient does not decide merely what treatment to get. He decides where to get treatment. A patient requires information about a prospective service-provider, not merely about a prospective service. In our opinion, these disclosures (about the continuing confidentiality problems, and the persistent past sales of body parts) would affect whether some patients consented to treatment by the facility disclsoing the information. We do not know if those disclsoures are required by law. If a service-provider implies to patients that it provide excellent medical care or that it has an excellent staff, it is especially important to provide the above-mentioned disclosures, we think. These are our opinions of fairness, not necessarily of what the law requires.
We do not want to discuss the death penalty or try to change your opinion of it. You know what your opinion is. However, there is something inconsistent about the governor, who is so high and mighty that police officers do not give him tickets, refusing to help someone avoid the death penalty. If Schwarzenegger took his own punishment like a man, his opinion of the death penalty for others might be worth considering.
In Sacramento, Schwarzenegger lives in a hotel, not the governor's mansion. Also, he has a home in Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles city, which is in Los Angeles county.
