Bush has a house and a lot of land (called the Prairie Chapel ranch) at the northwest, dead end of Mill Road, in the Prairie Chapel area of the McLennan County of Texas (several miles northwest of Crawford village). A house seems to be northeast of that end of Mill Road, connected to the raod by a private driveway. George W. Bush seems to live in a one-story, limestone house surrounded by a porch. Bush's zip code is 76638. At the end of Mill Road, one drives into the ranch by driving through a large structure that has decorative wheels on its top. The FAA has designated the place as prohibited area P-49. The FAA occasionally changes the boundary of P-49, so that the boundary is further from the ranch when Bush is at the ranch. Rove was registered to vote in Texas, and enjoyed homestead tax benefits in both Texas and the District of Columbia. Normally, homestead tax benefits are not available for a home in which one temporarily resides, or from which one intends to move. Normally, a home must also be a domicile to be eligible for homestead tax benefits. Similarly, one legally registers to vote at one's domicile only, not at a temporary home. Rove was registered to vote in Texas while he had homestead tax benefits in Texas and the District of Columbia. According to our understanding of mass media publicity: because the District found out that he was registered to vote in Texas, he paid a refund to the District of the homestead tax benefit the District had given him. He did not pay a homestead tax beneifit refund to a local government in Texas. He lives in the District at the above-specified Weaver address. We do not know the exact text of the statements he (and his wife?) made to the District regarding residence and domicile but those statements may possibly tend to prove that he was not legally qualified to vote, or have homestead tax benefits, in Texas. There may possibly be crimes of tax fraud and voter fraud in both the District and Texas. Rove is not unique. Government officers like Rove are a reason why the public should know where government officers live.
