We guess that the FAA and SEC (Commission File Number 000-49728) regulate it. In 2005, JetBlue did a transaction with Canada'a federal government (EXPORT DEVELOPMENT CANADA) concerning realty in New York City. In about 2006-2007, JetBlue did a realty transaction with a New York City government agency (New York City Industrial Development Agency, 110 William Street, New York NY 10038) concerning realty (QUEENS block 14260, lot 1, 154-68 BROOKVILLE BOULEVARD).

EPS seem to be about zero. The American economy, which JetBlue is rooted in, will get smaller over the next few years. Current overcapacity in the airline industry may especially harm carriers with low market share, such as JetBlue. Over the next few years, fuel will become more expensive as measured by the American dollar.
Institutional investors own much of JetBlue. According to moneycentral.msn.com Web site on 1 October 2009, big owners include Fidelity Management & Research; Federated Investors, Inc.; Barclays Global Investors, N.A.; and Wellington Management Company, LLP. Lufthansa owns 19 percent of JetBlue but, on that page, "Lufthansa" does not appear as an owner and no owner owns as much as 19 percent. According to a message posted by Eric Cheshier on 28 May 2008, "Time to gamble on JetBlue (JBLU)", Lufthansa is JetBlue's biggest stockholder. We don't know if Lufthansa controls JetBlue.
According to "Lufthansa pays $300 million for JetBlue stake: Low dollar makes U.S. companies seem like bargains for European buyers" (Business Aviation, 13 Dec. 2007): Germany's Lufthansa bought enough JetBlue stock from JetBlue to own 19 percent of JetBlue. Lufthansa paid JetBlue $7.27 per share. The price of JetBlue stock rose in response to announcement of the JetBlue-Lufthansa deal. According to "As Lufthansa Flies JetBlue, Analysts Wonder Why" (DealBook, Mergers & Acquisitions section, New York Times, 14 December 2007): right after the sale was announced, American observers generally thought that JetBlue rightly sold and that Lufthansa wrongly bought. The price of JetBlue stock declined much since then, and JetBlue does not pay dividends. According to "Lufthansa, JetBlue Sign Codeshare Deal" (30 September 2009), "JetBlue Airways and Lufthansa today announced that they have signed a codeshare agreement that will connect the German airline's international network to 12 JetBlue destinations, including gateways in Boston and New York." Lufthansa may make money because of route and schedule cooperation from JetBlue. Also, we guess it's conceivable that Lufthansa might sell services (such as mechanical maintenance of aircraft, and in-flight meals) to JetBlue.

By the way, we think, perhaps wrongly, that Queens Borough is slightly smaller than Queens County. There's a certain bridge connecting Manhattan to Queens County. That entire bridge, including the land under both ends of the bridge, is in Manhattan Borough. Manhattan paid for the entire bridge and therefore wanted to own all of it. A little of Manhattan Borough is in Queens County, as far as we know.
